There is nothing better than being surrounded by people that are special to you.
I had a blast at the Festival of Colors on Saturday. It was my first time going, and my first time crowd surfing! Ha! I'm not sure a better way to celebrate Springtime other than a great big adrenaline rush, right? It was so much more than that for me though. India is one of my favorite places, it has captured my attention for several years, and is definitely on my top places that I'd like to live. So you can imagine how happy I was when I found out that this Hindu celebration was happening in Spanish Fork over the weekend. The festival is held in the celebration of the new seasons, and the bond of friendship. I feel like as I'm reaching a new season in my life, that there was no better way to ring it in. The whole point of Holi is to rejoice, be happy and allow the new things meant for our lives to enter with the incoming season with a spiritual awareness and goodness. As spring is approaching, or maybe already here for some, hopefully we can remember that there is a time and season for everything. Our lives are not meant to be rushed through, and they can get a little messy at times, but that we should enjoy every moment of it, especially with the people dear to us.
HOW FUN
