Chances are if you know me really well, you understand my undying love for ice-cream & my love for eating at local places. When I kept hearing about LAKE EFFECT ARTISAN ICE CREAM from friends back home, I knew that I had to stop in while I was in New York. Let me just say this, IT WAS THE BEST! The flavors are so packed in with flavor, my mouth is watering for more just thinking about it. I loved the atmosphere, you can really tell that this place has a passion for being the best at what they do & that they love their ice cream. As you can see, I picked Frozen Hot Chocolate & their award winning flavor, Salty Caramel, thanks to their great staff's suggestions. I just couldn't make a decision with over 25+ flavors, not to mention their wide variety of Sundaes, Milkshakes & Floats. When I was there I also had the chance to try a couple of their true Western New York flavors: Loganberry & Sponge Candy. Lake Effect Ice Cream, you won my heart. I can't wait for my next visit out to Western New York to grab more.
