MY WORKSPACE is first and foremost just that, with small spaces it's easy to over clutter them with tons of photos and inspiration. Recently I received an email asking if I could do a tour of my house, but since I live with 4 other girls, the home I live in really isn't just mine. I consider this part of my apartment to be a true reflection of my personal style. The goal for my space is to focus on the color, I have PINTEREST and TUMBLR for my "inspiration boards" so to speak, as well as an array of journals and magazines. I like the organic feeling of plants in my room, and the few things that I do have in my space are bright and from the same color palette that way it feels organized. I try not to post a ton of things on my wall because then it makes my space feel a lot smaller. Since I don't have a separate living space, I have to combine my room with my studio, so I've made sure to keep the things dear to my heart in my space as well, such as gifts and words of encouragement from friends and family i.e.: the Niagara Falls snow globe, the Alphabet of Living Right, African Christmas card, the "Happy" banner, polaroids from New York, etc. On a separate wall I have photos of my family, and a stack of educational books (not featured) My room is still in the works, but I'd figure I would give you a little tour, if you have any other questions, inquiries, or just want to drop by and say hi, feel free to email me at steightofmind@gmail.com
