I think it's really important that we realize love comes in many forms, people, relationships, and various experiences in our lives. But abuse is in no way, or shape a form of love. Now, I bring this up, because I feel like more times than not, we forget that there are people out there dealing with this pain everyday. I believe that in today's society we tends to block out those things which we don't want to realize, and recognize happen. The reality of it all is no one deserves to be abused, mentally or physically.
In collaboration with my dear friend Mia Parlato back in New York, we are launching "Help Hearts" a project to reach out to those who have been victims of domestic violence. We both feel very strongly about doing our part, to give women and children an encouragement boost, a dose of self worth, and a little extra love this Valentines season.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
Drop off flowers, or make valentines for the women shelters near you, and your homes filled with inspiring quotes, we've chose to use
+ Proverbs 31:25, "Strength and honor are her clothing"
+ And simple phrases like, "Love yourself"

The Utah Domestic Violence Advisory Council is the official coalition for Utah State. Each state has it's own and has a list of where shelters can be found. You can find a list of shelters in Utah located HERE.

I know I have several readers in New York as well, so I have listed a website that has the address of current Women Shelters by county as well HERE.

This is the time to show love to everyone and to step outside of ourselves.
