So, I've decided that "Tuesday Tunes" will be a permanent weekly feature where I'll be doing either a mixtape or an artist spotlight. I thought it was only appropriate to start with my favorite folk-rock duo. TEGAN AND SARA. I listened to them all throughout middleschool, high school, and college. I've been anticipating their new album for quite sometime. Tegan & Sara have been in the music scene since about 1998 believe it or not. But I love their continuous fresh take on rock and mixing the elements. If anyone is feeling super generous they could help a girl out and buy me tickets to their tour this year....just saying.
I went ahead and pulled my four favorite albums, with my must hear tracks. "Heartthrob" is a beautiful album, and I've listened to it about 20 times already. If I had to pick an absolute favorite it would be "Closer" but I almost felt like "Now I'm All Messed Up" was a very very close second. Both have been playing on nonstop repeat this past week.
