So on Saturday I had the immense privilege and honor to photograph two of the most beautiful people, but more than that, my best friends wedding. Brooklynn and I practically grew up with each other, I remember turning 12 with her and going to Girls Camp in Seneca, and then 14 thinking about how we only had two more years until dating, 16 came and went, we fell in love with the idea of falling in love and finding our soul mates. I'm pretty sure we can put blame on this from our obsessions with Pride and Prejudice, The Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked. We had hundreds of sleepovers, giggling over the cute boys in our lives, or crying at the fact that our hearts had been broken. Brooklynn and I had our last sleepover Friday night before she became a married woman, and it was a little emotional for me, but it was also a wake up call. Life is moving so fast, I can't even catch up with it. It's hard to believe that I'm not 16 anymore, but soon to be 20, and that my best friend was going to be married! I am full of love, and happiness for her. If anyone deserves a fairytale it's Brooklynn. She is one of the most outstanding women I know. Always kind, never brutal or harsh. Her words of those spoken with love and genteelness. Eric is truly a lucky man, but also one who has shown that he is exactly the right fit for her. These two are iconic together, and really give a beautiful meaning to the phrase "perfect for each other". Cheers the both of you, may this be a beautiful new start and continuation to the many chapters you will write in your love story.
