If there's one thing I love doing, it's chopping my hair. I never dye my hair & I was too in love with it in high school to ever cut it. So no surprise, once I hit the college years, I couldn't stop chopping. I went from shoulder length to bob's, back to shoulder length and then back to another bob. Recently I've switched gears and instead of keeping my locks short, I've been trying to grow them out. Now considering I was sporting the long pixie cut this past May, & I could barely tuck my hair behind my ears, and now I can throw it in a pony tail, I must say something is working to making my hair grow in record speed.
FIRST: Biotin, I try to take one with each meal. Biotin is packed full with special Vitamins H7 & B7. Also, Biotin increases your hair strength & thickness. My hair rarely ever has breakage. Also as a bonus, I have hard nails without good ole Sally Hansen's help & they grow incredibly fast.
SECOND: Mane & Tail shampoo. I know what you're thinking...Horse Shampoo, really? Yes. Really. I use this twice a week. Mondays & Thursdays. Now I already have alot of volume in my hair, since on most days I allow it to air dry about 70% and then use my blow dyer the other 30% keeping it on a warm to cool setting. I also refuse to straighten it as to prevent at all costs breakage, but this has really added to its full look. On top of that, it's packed with Vitamins.
And for my secret tip....water. YES. I SAID IT. WATER. The magic behind all the speed hair growing. If you're going to commit yourself in this very serious relationship with your hair, and spend money & dedication with taking the right Vitamins & using the right hair products, you better be drinking your water, & all 8 glasses of it, (If you're like me and get dehydrated like nobodies business, I keep my tumbler cup with me at all times if possible and try to drink about 14 glasses a day. I know that might seem like alot, and it is. But I don't even think about it when my cup is just sitting in front of me) Water actually effects how fast your hair grows, and when your body becomes dehydrated you actually create inconsistent hair growth, and you even cause your natural level of hair growth to slow down. Water is so important. So don't forget to drink it & keep your body hydrated for glowing gorgeous locks.
I love this! Thanks so much for sharing your tips! Definitely went out and bought both of these!
