I can't even believe this is my 100th post on this little blog, it has turned out to be so much more than I ever could have imagined. I had been sitting down, trying to conger up exactly what I wanted to say, because I wanted it to be special, meaningful, and well, I wanted it to reflect on what the past 99 posts have done for myself, and hopefully for all of you inspiring readers. I think this 100th post is a really a marker in my life.
If there are two words I want you to remember always, they are "LOVE YOURSELF"
Have the courage to do what's best for you. Take yourself out to dinner. Go ahead and venture off to a new place. Hike up the mountain and watch the sunset. Write in your journal the very deepest of thoughts that you have. Express your heart wants, and needs. Do not settle for anything less than extraordinary. Be in love with yourself, and your life, every minute. Do not compare your low to another's high. Make sure you never give up. Learn to let go, and give the best options, the best shots. Don't sell your individual worth short. Be honest. If you aren't completely happy, stop what you're doing, and re-evalute. Eat right, exercise, but don't count calories and stress yourself out, and it's okay to have ice-cream twice a week, or more. Laugh at your faults and leave them behind. Most importantly, give yourself the patience to become the person you want to become. Love yourself.

ReplyDeleteIt's true, it's so important to love yourself, and have the courage to stay true to yourself. It's such a waste of time to try to be someone else, or not be 100% you. . . Great post. Inspiring, for sure :)
